03 — The ledgerDay 29 of the wager

The receipts,
in public.

When we opened, this page was a promise with zeroes on it. It now carries two settled wagers and two Sites of the Day — every verdict linked to the jury's own page, the nominees printed next to the wins. Check all of it. That is what it is for.

Two wagers is not a statistic. It is a start. The ledger keeps counting either way — and the day a jury says no to a project with a fee on it, that result goes here too, next to a number in pounds.

How this page is kept

Rules of
the ledger

01

Losses are published first

A record that only shows wins is a portfolio, not a ledger. Every jury verdict appears here within seven days of the result, in the order the results arrive, whether or not it flatters us. The nominees above that never converted are listed with the same prominence as the Sites of the Day.

02

No unnamed clients

If a project cannot be named, it does not go on the ledger and it does not count toward our record. Anonymous case studies are the oldest trick in this industry.

03

Voided invoices stay on the page

When we lose, the cancelled fee is recorded as a number in pounds. Permanently. It is the only honest measure of what the guarantee actually costs us. That number is currently zero, and we intend to be disappointed by it forever.

04

Links, not laurels

Every result links to the official page on the jury's own site. A laurel is decoration; a link is verification. Check every claim on this page — that is what it is for.

We said we would go first. Two Sites of the Day later, the offer stands.
